Parish Life Volunteer Committees

Holy Family:

The Holy Family group is for parents who want to work alongside their children in serving the church, although this group is for all parishioners. Meeting monthly, this group will complete cleaning and general upkeep projects both inside and outside of the church.

St. Joseph’s Workers:

St. Joseph’s Workers will tackle the larger building repairs. If you are someone who knows how to fix things or wants to learn, and you are willing to put in some hard work, St. Joseph’s Workers needs you. This group will meet on an as-needed basis.

Martha & Mary:

The Martha & Mary group is for women of all ages who want to care for the church facilities, similar to how Martha & Mary opened their home to Jesus as He traveled with His disciples. Attention is given to hospitality for events, laundering church items, cleaning the kitchens, keeping inventory, and many “behind the scenes” ways of serving. This group will meet weekly, although your participation is not requested every meeting; just come when you are available.

Art & Environment:

The Art & Environment group will serve the church by setting up for different liturgical seasons and creating a beautiful environment in the church that is conducive to worship. The group will also explore doctrinal content to maintain the beauty of St. John Fisher without overlooking any biblical or sacramental natures of the chapel. All are invited, especially those driven to study architectural design, theology, and art. This group will meet monthly and during the various seasons of the liturgical year.
